Conformed Mapping 2008

The idea from physics that light can be both wave and particle inspired the designs in this series which originated with logarhythm graphs that were copied and manipulated in photoshop to create the overall design. The composition is then emphasized with straight pins which catch the light at different angles to emphasize selected pathways. To date, 8000 straight pins have been used in this evolving body of work.
